Vintage Hornby-Dublo gauge OO litho tin and metal fish van D1 with its original cardboard box. Chassis marked: “HORNBY// Made in England// by Meccano Ltd.” Patent number incised on link (see picture #6.) Circa 1940’s-1950’s.
Dimensions

Length without the links -> 2-¾ inches (7 cm)
Condition
:
Van -> Somewhat rusted van and links. Minor markings and scratches here and there (see pictures.) Yellowed roof looks to be repainted in the past. Some minor chips on paint (see pictures.) Otherwise, fine to very fine overall condition.
Box-> Slightly soiled with some stains here and there. Rusted staples. Somewhat worn lining paper and cardboard with some creased and folded flaps (see pictures.) One missing flap and a ripped piece of lining paper (see picture.) Otherwise regular to fine overall condition.
