Our custom tuned UHF antennas have greatly improved communications for all business, consumer, commercial, fire, GMRS 462-467 MHz, government, industrial, public safety, police, and rescue radio users who operate in the shared UHF 406 to 512 MHz
radio band.
The
EFJ4
stubby antenna is only
2.0 to 2.5 inches
tall depending upon frequency range with a final height tolerance of
plus or minus 0.125 of an inch
as measured from the bottom of the
“special short weather skirt”
to the top cap of the antenna.
The lower 406-422 MHz frequencies will have the tallest antennas and the upper 482-512 MHz frequencies will be the shortest.
The antenna covering is made of black flexible PVC and has a bottom weather skirt to protect the RF connection on the radio housing.
The antenna RF connection is a SMA female type connector with a recessed center insulator needed for the EF Johnson portable radios.
We silver solder all reworked internal antenna connections.
The retuning of the antenna achieves a minimum signal gain of up to
+3 dB
that will effectively double your transmit and receive signal power due to the very low VSWR and excellent 50 ohm impedance match as compared to an untuned antenna.
Our retuning also allows for a much smaller antenna height without any loss of performance by eliminating all of the unused space inside the antenna covering.
Your antenna will have a final VSWR of 1.5:1 or less across the advertised frequency range variation choice for TRUE high performance FM narrowband analog or P25 DIGITAL radio communications range.  If you need a frequency range that is different from what is listed please let us know so that we can design a solution for you.  If you need a wider frequency bandwidth antenna please see our other antenna listings.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify what specific UHF frequencies or UHF frequency range is needed.
A UHF antenna will definitely not work at all in the 700/800
MHz radio band.
Any buyer abuse, fraud, tampering, or illegal activity will not be tolerated and eBay will be notified of the situation.

Please note that ALL USPS mailings can possibly be delayed due to the Pandemic. USPS mail delivery is most definitely not the same as it was before the pandemic started.
Per USPS their staffing is greatly reduced in many areas across the country due to the pandemic which is causing some long unpredictable delays. Most packages have arrived in a timely manner to our customers; HOWEVER, some 1st class packages can take 2-3 weeks to be delivered.
Priority mail does tend to get to you faster; HOWEVER, it too can take an extra few days to receive your package than is expected.
If your package is not delivered in a timely manner per USPS we have to wait until after the expected delivery date of your package to 1st complete an online Help Request form before we can start a Missing Mail Search Request. If after 7 business days from when we submit the Help Request Form your package still has not arrived, we can then submit the Missing Mail Search Request.
You need to be patient with your package delivery time frame.
We have done our job when we ship out your order now it is up to USPS to do their job in a timely manner to deliver your package.
With USPS First Class mail, be aware that shipping times can vary greatly with this economy shipping service on a good day and especially during national emergencies, severe weather or Holiday periods. Don’t worry if an immediate PayPal payment is required; we will issue you a refund via PayPal for any excess shipping costs you may have incurred after we combine all of your items into one shipment.

RETURN POLICY:
Within
60 days
of the auction close if; you are not satisfied with the item, you changed your mind, have buyer’s remorse, or made a mistake, you may return the item in the same condition as when it was purchased for a refund.
A restocking fee of

will be applied for all refunds.
We will refund the full item price paid less the original shipping costs, and the restocking fee. Any missing items will be deducted from the refund at the current manufacture suggested retail prices.

of the auction close if you feel that your item is defective, you may return the item under our warranty conditions as listed.

Also any malfunctions or damage caused by failing to follow directions will not be covered.
Warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be reassigned.
The warranty date starts on the auction close date and any repaired or replacement items issued under warranty will be covered only for the original warranty period.
The returned item will be inspected and retested for all specifications.
If the item is found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion. The item will be returned to you at no cost.
Any returned item found not to be defective and in good condition, will be shipped back to the buyer after we receive a payment from the buyer for all return shipment costs. Our return shipping will include shipping insurance and tracking.
